CyclicalSuccessiveIntervalGroupType type of cyclical time interval A specialization of <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvgER1JwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">MutuallyDisjointIntervalCollectionType</a> (q.v.) and a collection of collections of collections of <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvViAw5wpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">TimeInterval</a>s. Each instance CIGTYPE of <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvgET9JwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">CyclicalSuccessiveIntervalGroupType</a> is a collection of interval-types whose instances recur in a set pattern throughout all of calendar history. CIGTYPE must partition all of time: the instances of CIGTYPE must be mutually disjoint and, taken all together, _their_ instances must cover all time. For example, CIGTYPE could be the collection of the seven calendar days of the week (see <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVjWeZwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">DayOfWeekType</a>) or the collection of the twelve calendar months (see <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVjOXpwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">MonthOfYearType</a>). &quot;Recurring in a set pattern&quot; means here that the instances of CIGTYPE can be put into an order INTTYPE(1), ..., INTTYPE(n) such that each instance of INTTYPE(i) (for 1 &lt;= i &lt; n) is immediately followed by (see <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVin4pwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">contiguousAfter</a>) an instance of INTTYPE(i+1), and each instance of INTTYPE(n) is immediately followed by an instance of INTTYPE(1). For example, if CIGTYPE is <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVjWeZwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">DayOfWeekType</a>, INTTYPE(1) might be <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVjW85wpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">Monday</a> (the collection of all mondays), INTTYPE(2) <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvVjhY5wpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">Tuesday</a>, and so on.
