A <a href="http://sw.opencyc.org/2008/06/10/concept/Mx4rvftLRZwpEbGdrcN5Y29ycA" class="cyc_term">BodyOfWater_Large</a> tends to be permanent, not seasonal (though there are exceptions). Large bodies of water count as water area in geographical calculations, while non-large bodies of water do not.
